Establishes a committee to examine the state industrial code and recommend any changes that need to be made; requires a report to be sent to the governor, the commissioner, the temporary president of the senate, the speaker of the assembly, the senate minority leader and assembly minority leader on any changes that need to be made to the state industrial code.
Relates to exempting disabled veterans from application fees relating to physical modification of a residence to accommodate a disability, including permit fees, plan review fees, inspection fees and reinspection fees.
Dedicates a portion of the state highway system constituting state route nine-W within the town of Bethlehem, at the town line bordering the city of Albany until its intersection with Moriah road, to Patrick LaFortune Jr.
Prohibits people from engaging in protests outside a place of religious worship; establishes that protests must be a minimum of twenty-five feet away from a place of religious worship.
Authorizes the comptroller, in consultation with the NYS higher education services corporation, to develop and administer a scholarship and savings program to provide a pathway for eligible children to save for education expenses.
