The Transportation Committee heard and advanced several measures. SB 654 on traffic infraction enforcement was presented as a comprehensive cleanup of camera-based enforcement for red lights, school zones, and school bus violations. Later, SB 382 on electric bicycles and scooters was substantially revised with a strike-all amendment.
