Relates to the reuse of building construction, deconstruction, and demolition materials, including requiring local deconstruction ordinances and reporting requirements for local political subdivisions awarded grants for construction, deconstruction and demolition projects; establishes a construction, deconstruction, and demolition waste prevention and reduction grant and technical support program; establishes deconstruction contractor certification requirements.
Requires each state-operated facility that delivers health care services which is operated and licensed pursuant to the mental hygiene law, the education law, the correction law or section 504 of the executive law and which requires two or more registered nurses or licensed practical nurses to be present within the facility at any given time.
Requires certain labeling to be used to indicate the safety dates and quality dates of food products; requires the department of agriculture and markets to educate consumers about such provisions.
Allows individuals to use correspondence from a licensed physician, dated within the preceding thirty days, indicating that paratransit service is necessary for such individual, in place of in-person recertification.
Extends certain provisions authorizing certain mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and psychoanalysts to engage in diagnosis and the development of assessment-based treatment plans.
Requires the commissioner of labor, in consultation with the commissioner of agriculture and markets, commissioner of health and the commissioner of environmental conservation, to develop instructional tools and materials for occupations at high-risk of tick exposures; requires such materials to provide information on the identification of ticks and tick removal, and protection from tick bites; requires such materials to be available to high-risk employers and employees at no charge.
Relates to provisions governing contracting between state agencies and not-for-profit organizations including new, renewal, and extension contracts and advance payments and interest for such contracts; repeals provisions relating to interest payments.
