Relates to an increase in punishment for certain actions against on-duty auxiliary police officers such as criminally negligent homicide, assault or menacing of such officer.
Protects renters using a housing subsidy or voucher, or receiving public assistance from discrimination by the housing provider based on such renters' income or use of such housing subsidy, voucher or public assistance.

Provides free fentanyl test strips to individuals at specified distribution facilities; requires a public awareness campaign on the dangers of fentanyl and the provision of the test strips.
Mandates that purchasers of new vehicles complete a form authorizing or rejecting the placement of a tracking device in such vehicle, to be used by law enforcement if such vehicle is reported stolen; authorizes law enforcement to recover the stolen vehicle through electronic means, physical means, or any other method necessary to recover such vehicle as quickly as possible.
Relates to the definition of "direct relationship" for the purposes of article 23-A of the correction law regarding licensures and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.
Prohibits cannabis retail and on-site consumption licensees from operating such premises within one thousand feet of the perimeter of a school grounds; prohibits the advertising and marketing of cannabis content within one thousand feet of the perimeter of a school grounds, playgrounds, child day care providers, public parks, and libraries.
Excludes persons who, not having entered a lease or license for such dwelling with the rightful owner, enters into a dwelling unit, onto real property or otherwise settles on land or occupies real property without title, right, permission of the rightful owner, or payment of rent accepted by the rightful owner from the definition of "occupant" for the purposes of unlawful eviction.
Establishes a New York state prison labor board to ensure that all labor programs comply with the requirements of the labor law and are for the purpose of promoting successful rehabilitation, reentry and reintegration into the community and not for the purpose of earnings or cost-savings which inure to the benefit the state or any private individual or corporation; prohibits the department of corrections and community supervision from unfairly attaching, garnishing or disbursing the funds of incarcerated individuals where such individuals have not requested disbursement; requires that all interest accumulated on incarcerated individuals' funds be credited to such individual's accounts; eliminates the preferred status of the department of corrections and community supervision regarding commodities and services furnished by the correctional industries program; repeals certain provisions of the state finance law relating to such preferred status.
Establishes a temporary commission to examine and review the degree and effect of segregation in primary and secondary schools and any correlation with school funding and the long-term impact of inadequate education on segregated students.
