Authorizes the county of Ulster to establish an affordable housing fund to provide financial assistance to first-time homebuyers, production of affordable housing, emergency housing, or supportive housing for sale or rent, rehabilitation of existing buildings for conversion to affordable housing, emergency housing, or supportive housing, acquisition of interests in real property in existing housing units, and the provision of housing counseling services.
Requires certain large buildings in the city of New York to be retrofitted with sprinkler systems that are compliant with the NY state uniform fire prevention and building code.
Requires that no homeless shelter shall be located within five hundred feet of a transit facility or within a building that has a rent-controlled or rent-stabilized dwelling unit.
Establishes the crimes of unlawful dissemination or publication of intimate images in the first, second, and third degree; defines terms and clarifies application of provisions relating to such crimes; extends the statute of limitations for such crimes; repeals provisions relating thereto.
Exempts the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., within the town of Central Square, Oswego county from the forty-five percent limit on non-resident members.
Authorizes certain nursing students to administer certain vaccines pursuant to patient specific orders or non-patient specific orders; authorizes physicians and certified nurse practitioners to prescribe and order a patient specific order or non-patient specific order to a nursing student to administer certain vaccines.
Authorizes a city, town or village to establish a program whereby a building permit may be issued based upon certification by a registered architect or professional engineer.
Provides that any writing or record made as a memorandum or record of any act, transaction, occurrence or event, may be received in grand jury proceedings as evidence of proof that such act, transaction, occurrence or event, if it was made in the regular course of any business.
Requires healthcare facilities to maintain a fifty percent operating threshold of certain reusable healthcare protective textiles in their inventory unless a reprieve is provided for supply chain issues; provides a fine may be assessed for failure to comply, as determined by the commissioner.
Requires an operator of a covered platform with at least one million users to ensure that its covered platform provides a process to allow law enforcement agencies to contact such covered platform, which shall provide continuous availability of such process; provides that an operator of a covered platform with at least one million users shall comply with a search warrant within seventy-two hours of receipt under certain circumstances; provides that a court may extend the time for compliance with a search warrant under certain circumstances.
Establishes a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender veterans coordinator in order to support the unique needs of, advocate for, and celebrate the service of such veterans.
