An Act To Create The Mississippi Tele-emergency Services Grant Program To Be Administered By The State Department Of Health; To Provide That The Grant Program Shall Be Used By The Department For The Purpose Of Promoting Rural Tele-emergency Services With An Emphasis On Tele-stroke, Tele-behavioral Health, And Tele-emergency Medical Services (tele-ems); To Allow An Administrative Set-aside To Cover Costs Of Administration; To Provide The Criteria That Must Be Submitted To The Department In Order For An Applicant To Be Eligible For A Grant; To Provide Reporting Requirements About The Program; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Provide That Willful False Allegations That A Felony Or Misdemeanor Was Committed Because Of The Actual Or Perceived Race, Color, Ancestry, Ethnicity, Religion, National Origin Or Gender Of Any Person Shall Be Unlawful; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Establish A Health Care And Education Shortage Assistance Program To Help Attract Physicians, Nurses, Emergency Medical Technicians And Other Health Care Workers, Social Workers And Teachers To Work In Rural Areas Of Counties That Had An Unemployment Rate Of More Than Ten Percent In The Previous Calendar Year And Currently Have A Shortage Of Any Of Those Professionals; To Provide That Funding For The Program Will Be Provided From The Mississippi Works Fund And Will Be Disbursed To The Counties By The Mississippi Department Of Employment Security Upon Appropriation By The Legislature For That Purpose; To Provide That The Amount Appropriated For The Program Shall Be Not Less Than Five Million Dollars For Each Fiscal Year; To Provide That Any Eligible County That Wishes To Receive Funds Under The Program Must Adopt A Resolution Requesting The Funds And Submit An Application To The Department Of Employment Security With A Detailed Plan Of How The Funds Will Be Used; To Provide That In Order To Receive Funds Under The Program, A County Must Provide Matching Funds Of Not Less Than Thirty Percent Of The Amount Of The Funds Provided To The County Under The Program; To Bring Forward Section 71-5-353, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provides For Workforce Training Funds, For The Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Require A Comprehensive Course In Mississippi History To Be Taught To All Students In Grade 9 In Public Schools; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Require Each School In Every School District To Have An Epinephrine Auto-injector And An Automated External Defibrillator (aed) In Each Educational Building, Central Administrative Office And Cafeteria, Stored In A Secure And Easily Accessible Location Within Each Respective Building; To Define The Terms Used In This Act; To Require Each Local School Board To Adopt And Implement A Policy Regarding The Maintenance, Storage, Administration And Disposal Of Epinephrine Auto-injectors, And The Maintenance, Storage, Testing And Use Of Aeds; To Prescribe The Minimum Requirements Of The Policy; To Provide That Only Licensed Medical Professionals Or School Personnel Trained By Licensed Medical Professionals Shall Be Authorized To Administer Epinephrine Auto-injectors Or Use An Aed For A Person In Emergency Anaphylaxis Or Cardiac Arrest; To Require The State Department Of Health, In Consultation With The State Superintendent Of Public Education, To Establish Guidelines For The Development Of Policies By Local School Districts; To Require The State Department Of Health To Adopt Rules Regarding The Maintenance, Storage, Administration And Disposal Of An Epinephrine Auto-injector, And The Maintenance, Storage, Testing And Use Of Aeds In Public Schools; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Authorize The Issuance Of General Obligation Bonds Of The State Of Mississippi For The Purpose Of Providing Funds To School Districts In The State For Capital Improvements; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Provide That Any Property Insurance Policy Issued Or Delivered In The State Shall Include An Appraisal Provision, Which Can Be Invoked By Either Party Provided Coverage Has Been Acknowledged For Any Aspect Of A Loss, Or A Covered Peril Was Involved In Causing Any Aspect Of The Loss; To Provide The Appraisal Provision To Be Included; To Provide That The Appraisal Panel Shall Have The Exclusive Authority To Determine The Value Of The Property And The Amount Of The Loss, Including Issues Of Causation, The Cost Of Repair Or Replacement, The Method Of Repair, The Scope Of Repair, The Scope Of Damage And The Requirements Of The Applicable Building Codes; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Require School Districts Accredited At One Of The Three Lowest Accountability Ratings, As Defined By The State Board Of Education, To Adopt Certain Policies And Procedures Regarding Daily Curriculum, Weekly Homework Assignments, Parental Involvement, Dress Codes, School Holidays, Parent-teacher Conferences And A School Syllabus; To Require Alternative Schools In Those Districts To Adhere To The Same Policies And Procedures; To Require All Local School Districts To Implement A Video Streaming Program In Conjunction With The United States Department Of Labor To Aid In The Development Of An Alternative Career-track Curriculum Based Upon Occupational Projections In The State And Country For The Next Five Years; To Require School Districts To Assist Students In Accessing Information From The Department Of Labor Which Will Enable The Students To Make Career Choices; To Require A School District's Alternative Career-track Curriculum To Satisfy Its Graduation Requirements And Lead To The Awarding Of A Standard High School Diploma; And For Related Purposes.
