SB 1224 on rental housing application fraud was also amended and reported favorably after testimony from apartment and realtor groups in support.
In the latter part of the meeting, Chair Martin presented SB 1370 to expand habitual traffic offender status to repeated unlicensed driving, and SB 1712 to create a statewide FDLE counterintelligence and counterterrorism unit.
