Finally, the committee adopted a strike-all amendment to SB 1808 requiring health care practitioners and facilities to refund patient overpayments within 30 days, with enforcement through AHCA fines or professional discipline, and then reported the bill favorably.

FDOT said its adopted five-year work program includes more than $1.4 billion for local transportation improvement projects.
