Provides that a person [12] 14 years of age or older can use a [motor assisted scooter or] Class 1 [or Class 2] electric assisted bicycle. Provides that a person 16 years of age or older can use a Class 2 or Class 3 electric assisted bicycle. Directs the Department of Transportation to undertake a public information campaign to inform the public about the changes to the law and develop a safety education program.

The Act says that county clerks must provide a live video feed of ballot counting. (Flesch Readability Score: 73.1). Requires each county clerk in this state to provide a live video feed to be made available to the public through the Internet of rooms in which ballots are tallied and official ballot drop sites. Requires each county clerk to cause the live video feed to be recorded and made available to the public through the Internet for at least two years following the election at which the live video feed was provided.

The Act would make it so estates would not pay estate tax for farm, forestry or fishing interests that are owned by trusts and businesses. (Flesch Readability Score: 63.0). Modifies exemption from the taxable estate for the value of natural resource property to accommodate interests owned through a trust or business entity. Adds detail to look-back and look-forward provisions as applicable to entities. Allows for replacement property. Applies to estates of decedents dying on or after July 1, 2025. Requires the Housing and Community Services Department to establish a statewide shelter program through which regional coordinators are selected to administer funding to shelter providers.
