Enacts the safer consumption services pilot program act which provides for the establishment of a pilot program to provide overdose prevention center pilot programs.
Establishes the psilocybin assisted therapy pilot program; provides such program will be offered to veterans and first responders from New York state; establishes a psilocybin assisted therapy pilot program fund.
Establishes a food bank for pets pilot program which provides food for cats and dogs to pet owners who have financial challenges in providing for their pets without assistance.
Removes the sunset provision of the four (4) year pilot program to prevent drug overdoses through the establishment of harm reduction centers and creates a permanent program for harm reduction centers.
Extends the sunset provision of the four (4) year pilot program to prevent drug overdoses through the establishment of harm reduction centers for two (2) years to March 1, 2028.
