Authorizes the medical testing for infection with the AIDS virus of certain incarcerated individuals applying for certain privileges such as marriage, temporary release program, and family reunions; authorizes the disclosure of such test results for such purposes; authorizes the notification of correctional personnel of incarcerated individuals having symptoms of AIDS; authorizes commissioner to deny access of the incarcerated individual to such privileges if they test positive.
Prohibits drug, cannabis or alcohol testing of pregnant or postpartum individuals and newborns unless the individual consents and it is within the scope of medical care, or the testing is necessary for a medical emergency.
Requires any municipality which conducts lead testing to provide notices to the owner and any tenants of a residence upon a positive test and inform the owner and any tenants of lead abatement programs and other resources; requires municipalities to notify tenants of lead testing.
Requires certain legal notices related to class actions be in a readable format; provides penalties failing to comply with the requirements for legal notices.
Repeals the required HIV testing for an individual convicted under chapter 34.1 of title 11 and allows the option for HIV testing for any person convicted under this chapter.
Relates to dispensing certain controlled substances for use by a person with a substance use disorder during certain emergency medical treatment, or to relieve acute withdrawal symptoms.
