Requires a commissioner of a board of elections to meet certain qualifications before their appointment which shall include, but not be limited to, the qualifications prescribed by section three of the public officers law, and demonstrated experience in election administration or other management, operations, or administrative experience in the public, non-profit, or private sector as deemed sufficient by the board.
Prohibits certain immigration and customs enforcement agents or officers from holding employment as a state employee, an employee of a political subdivision, a law enforcement officer, or a teacher; defines terms.
Prohibits landlords or their agents from inquiring or requiring disclosure about citizenship or immigration status, requiring specific immigration documentation to be presented, disclosing immigration or citizenship status to third parties, or threatening to report a tenant's citizenship or immigration status in retaliation for asserting their rights.
