Relates to the compulsory age for full time instruction from six to five years of age and certain exceptions for minor children; requires kindergarten in certain school districts.
Prohibits the enforcement of federal immigration laws while within two hundred feet of specified voting locations; extends the prohibition on electioneering activities to within two hundred feet of the specified voting location; authorizes a county elections official to extend the time for closing the polls at any polling place if the county elections official determines that voting at the polling place was disrupted as a result of a violation of the prohibitions on enforcement of federal immigration laws or electioneering; limits the exceptions to the prohibition on carrying firearms in a sensitive location; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon the expiration thereof.
Requires fire district elections occur on the same day as school board elections and requires that such voting day follows similar procedures to early voting; requires such election be overseen by the local county board of elections.
Requires voting machines or systems to comply with the voluntary voting system guidelines adopted by the United States election assistance commission on December 13, 2005.
