Directs the department of agriculture and markets, in cooperation with NYSERDA, to produce and distribute guidance and educational materials for farmers on the use of agrivoltaics in farming no later than one year after chapter 629 of the laws of 2022 takes effect.
Establishes the canine officer health monitoring fund which allows for applicants to request reimbursement from the division of criminal justice services for health costs related to regular health or injury associated with canine officers.
Relates to exempting certain non-profit community gardens from payment for water usage and supply; exempts non-profit community gardens located on property in the city of New York and registered with and licensed by such city's department of parks and recreation from payment for water usage and supply.
Prohibits statewide elected officers and certain appointed officers from receiving compensation for any book or other published work written during the course of their term of service.
Prohibits the intentional removal of identification markers from commercial motor vehicles in the city of New York for the purpose of evading a traffic infraction; provides a fine of $200-$1000 for intentional removal of identification markers.
Requires a business entity in violation of worker protection or environmental laws and regulations to surrender all previous state subsidies issued to such business entity.
Relates to re-defining the term physically helpless to mean an individual who is physically unable to communicate affirmative consent through words or clear actions that offer permission and a willingness to engage in sexual activity.
Exempts the East Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. from the requirement that the percentage of non-resident fire department members not exceed forty-five percent of the membership.
