Relates to creating a private right of action for the breach of a consumer's identifying information such as their social security number, driver's license number, bank account number, credit or debit card number, personal identification number, automated or electronic signature, unique biometric data, account passwords or other information that can be used to access an individual's financial accounts or to obtain goods and services.
Provides that Medicaid and policies issued in this state that provide coverage for hospital, surgical or medical care shall provide coverage for standard fertility preservation services when a necessary cancer treatment may directly or indirectly cause iatrogenic infertility to a covered person.
Provides for universal newborn nurse home visiting services; requires health insurance coverage for universal newborn nurse home visiting services; authorizes the department of health to apply for certain waivers; directs the superintendent of financial services to require an insurer, health carrier or health benefit plan to notify enrollees annually of universal newborn nurse home visiting services.
Extends certain provisions relating to a partial tax abatement for residential real property held in the cooperative or condominium form of ownership in a city having a population of one million or more.
Relates to veterans' preferences with respect to civil service promotions; removes requirement of service during a time of war for additional points on civil service examinations for veterans.
