Memorializing Governor Kathy Hochul to proclaim April 2023, as Pet Cruelty Awareness Month in the State of New York, in conjunction with the observance of National Animal Cruelty Awareness Month
Prohibits persons or entities headquartered or incorporated in New York that provide electronic communications services to the general public, from producing records that would reveal the identity of the customers using those services, data stored by or on behalf of the customers, the customers' usage of those services, the recipient or destination of communications sent to or from those customers, or the content of those communications, when served with a warrant issued by another state to produce records under certain circumstances, and prohibits geofencing of health care facilities for certain purposes.
Provides for availability of ambulance services and advanced life support first response service to store and distribute blood and initiate and administer blood transfusions, by expanding current provisions for air transport to apply additionally to motor vehicle based ambulance services.
Extends from November 30, 2023 to November 30, 2025, the authorization granted to the county of Broome to impose an additional one percent of sales and compensating use taxes.
Relates to requiring lodging facilities to set air conditioner default settings to certain temperatures; requires such facilities to not set the default temperature settings lower than 75 degrees Fahrenheit between the months of May through October and higher than 64 degrees Fahrenheit between the months of November through April.
Requires the city of New York to reduce the interest accrued on certain charges assessed by the NYC department of health for inspections, clean-ups, examinations and other services performed between 1/21/97 and 11/9/99 on real property located at 1690 60th Street in Brooklyn.
Permits certain registered pharmacy technicians to assist a licensed pharmacist in preparing prescriptions in facilities licensed pursuant to articles twenty-eight or thirty-one of the public health law, or a pharmacy owned and operated by such facility, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist employed by such facility.
Extends from November 30, 2023 to November 30, 2025, the authorization granted to the county of Broome to impose an additional one percent of sales and compensating use taxes.
Sets requirements for the sale, lease, and rental of powered bicycles, powered mobility devices, and storage batteries for such devices; provides for penalties for the violation thereof.
Relates to repeat offenders of driving accidents; relates to driving while ability is impaired by drugs; relates to speedy trials and certain vehicular crimes.
