AN ACT Relating to clarifying the scope of authority of the office of independent investigations to align with current operations and practices and to include public disclosure requirements and protect privacy;
Order relative to authorizing the joint committee on Aging and Independence to make an investigation and study of certain current Senate documents relative to aging and independence matters.
Establishes the office of inspector general as an independent administrative agency charged with the responsibility to investigate, detect, and prevent fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement in the expenditure of public funds.
