Provides for the governance of state museums and the transfer of museums from the Department of State to the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism (OR SEE FISC NOTE SG RV)
Directs the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism to conduct a study, in consultation with the board of directors of the Louisiana State Museum and the WWII Museum, of the feasibility of establishing a museum and trail dedicated to the Louisiana Maneuvers
MUSEUMS: Directs the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in consultation with the Louisiana State Museum Board and the National WWII Museum, to conduct a study on the feasibility of establishing a museum and trail dedicated to the Louisiana Maneuvers.
Transfers the sound recording investor tax credit program from La. Economic Development to the Dept. of Culture, Recreation and Tourism and extends the duration of the program (EN DECREASE GF RV See Note)
Makes appropriations to and authorizes the expenditure of money by the Division of Museums and History of the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs for certain vehicles, tools and repairs. (BDR S-1188)
