OCCUPATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LICENSING – Amends and adds to existing law to provide for equivalency between high school graduation and graduation from a nonpublic school for licensing requirements.
Occupations: individual licensing and registration; licensing reciprocity under the occupational code for certain individuals who hold an out-of-state license; provide for. Amends sec. 217 of 1980 PA 299 (MCL 339.217).
Enacts the empire state licensing act to provide all New Yorkers with access to professional, occupational, commercial, or business licenses, permits, certificates, or related registrations regardless of an applicant's citizenship or immigration status.
