Finally, the subcommittee heard a revised amendment to House 406 on business filings and registered agents. After leaving executive session, the committee heard House Bill 3489, which would expand access to workforce readiness assessments, especially WorkKeys, and allow students to earn up to nine hours of college credit for demonstrated workplace skills as recommended by the American Council on Education.
