Summary:
The House convened with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, established a quorum with 86 members present, and approved the journal from January 8, 2026. Resolutions were also introduced recognizing Kentucky Mentorship Month, Hindu holidays and the resilience of the Hindu people, and honoring victims of UPS Airlines Flight 2976 and first responders.
No bills were debated or voted on beyond the procedural actions noted. The session concluded with no committee business or floor amendments needed, and the House adjourned without objection until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026.
