Senate File 2426, requiring English proficiency for commercial drivers, passed 73-22. On Senate File 2218, the House insisted on its amended position, sending the bill to conference committee. The House then transmitted several bills to the Senate, withdrew House File 2507 after SF 2417 passed, and adjourned until the next day.
