Provides for an exclusion for treble damages in actions for forcible or unlawful entry or detainer where such treble damages are unavailable to a person who, not having entered a lease or license for such real property with the rightful owner, enters onto real property or otherwise settles on land or occupies real property without title, right, permission of the rightful owner, or payment of rent accepted by the rightful owner.
Establishes the New York healthy incentive program (Part A); automates SNAP and the New York healthy incentive program (Part B); establishes the New York healthy incentive program outreach program (Part C).
Creates a single, streamlined process whereby a facility or program operating both a pre-kindergarten program and a daycare program may apply for and receive any certification, licensing, or other requirement otherwise necessary to operate a pre-kindergarten program or daycare program under the laws of the state.
Requires the division of housing and community renewal, in collaboration with the New York state office for the aging, to establish a publicly accessible online database of available senior housing units; requires the New York state office for the aging to maintain the senior housing unit database.
Excludes persons who, not having entered a lease or license for such dwelling with the rightful owner, enters into a dwelling unit, onto real property or otherwise settles on land or occupies real property without title, right, permission of the rightful owner, or payment of rent accepted by the rightful owner from the definition of "occupant" for the purposes of unlawful eviction.
Adds impersonation of board of elections members or other election officers, or an employee thereof, to the crime of criminal impersonation in the first degree.
Establishes the safe water and infrastructure action program for the purpose of making payments toward the replacement and rehabilitation of certain existing local drinking water, storm water and sanitary sewer systems; applies to any county, city, town, village or public authority drinking water system, storm water system or sanitary sewer system within the state that is not under the maintenance and/or operational jurisdiction of a private entity.
Authorizes a county, city, town or village to override a governor's declaration of a state disaster emergency in all or part of the territorial limits of such local government.
Provides for payment by the state of certain traveling costs and fees associated with the psychiatric examination of defendants to determine mental fitness.
