Honoring Firefighter Vincent Delgatto upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition after 25 years of dedicated service to the East Williston Fire Department
Establishes provisions for real property tax lien transfers to assist homeowners facing foreclosure based on unpaid taxes; repeals existing provisions relating to acceptance of taxes from certain loan corporations.
Extends the expiration of the provisions authorizing the county of Cattaraugus to impose an additional one percent sales and compensating use taxes until November 30, 2027.
Provides that for settlements that require a court order, the order, or the judgment in a special proceeding, shall provide for the payment of interest on the settlement amount at the statutory interest rate on judgments.
Authorizes the state of New York mortgage agency to purchase rehabilitation mortgages from banks within the state during periods when there is an inadequate supply of credit available for new residential mortgages or available for such loans at carrying charges within the financial means of persons and families of low and moderate income.
Provides for review of bail data reports by the state commission on judicial conduct to study such reports for evidence of bias or prejudice by any judge or justice, and where appropriate based on such reports, to initiate, investigate, and hear complaints and otherwise comment on matters of bias and prejudice evidenced therein.
Grants a special apportionment to school districts having a population of between 195,000 and 219,000, for additional expenses incurred in the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years associated with changes in public pension liabilities.
