Prohibits persons under the age of twenty-one years from possessing or using cannabis except for patients certified pursuant to article three of the cannabis law; provides for the seizure of such cannabis from a person under age twenty-one and the imposition of civil penalties, community service, or both for violations.
Allows the state and city university of New York system to offer college credits to prospective students based on such prospective student's performance on the regents examinations.
Provides that students who receive a high school diploma from an online high school program located within the United States that is accredited in accordance with the Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook shall be eligible for admission to colleges and financial aid.
Authorizes the county of Monroe to offer an optional twenty year retirement plan to Gregory M. Prokop, a deputy sheriff/investigator employed by the county of Monroe.
Authorizes the county of Monroe to offer an optional twenty year retirement plan to Carl J. Zimmerman, a deputy sheriff employed by the county of Monroe.
Prohibits cannabis storefronts from being located within a quarter mile from any town, city or village which has opted out of permitting the sale of cannabis.
Authorizes the empire state development corporation to retain one or more independent MWBE consultant firms to conduct an independent review of procurement procedures utilized by state agencies.
