Expands definition of eligible senior citizen and disabled person to include any member of the tenant's household lawfully occupying the premises as such person's residence who is 62 years of age with respect to condominium and cooperative conversion to provide protection to disabled and senior citizen non-purchasing residents of buildings that undergo cooperative or condominium conversions under an eviction plan even where such residents are not tenants of record in the buildings.
Provides that Medicaid and policies issued in this state that provide coverage for hospital, surgical or medical care shall provide coverage for standard fertility preservation services when a necessary cancer treatment may directly or indirectly cause iatrogenic infertility to a covered person.
Permits regulatory agencies to adjust any authorized fares to account for credit card processing fees for meters used in for-hire vehicles and requires credit card processing fees to be separately stated on receipts to passengers of such vehicles.
Relates to electronic citation fees or the process of transmitting traffic, misdemeanor, municipal ordinance, conservation, or other citations and law enforcement data via electronic means to a county clerk.
Exempts clothing and footwear sold in New York city from all state and local sales taxes including items used or consumed to make or repair such clothing and which becomes a physical component part of such clothing.
Prohibits a court from providing for visitation or custody of a minor who is a U.S. citizen to a person who resides outside the U.S. when the other party to such action is a U.S. citizen and objects to such an order.
Creates a land bank in a city with eight million or more residents by adoption of a local law by the city council; limits board membership to eleven members.
Directs the department of economic development, in conjunction with various departments and offices, to conduct a study regarding increasing public access to museums in New York city; directs a report on such study to be submitted no later than one year after the effective date.
Enables students to receive information from colleges and universities without disclosing their personally identifiable information via an opt-in system.
