Directs the director of the office of the aging to establish a caregiver crisis hotline to provide emotional support resources for informal caregivers of a person in need of assistance.
Creates the family essential program within the office for the aging to provide for advocacy, collaborative and education infrastructure for essential family caregivers within nursing homes and other long term care communities.
Requires venues of public accommodation to maintain accessible parking in accordance with federal law; establishes penalties and enforcement mechanisms for the division of human rights and local governments.
Directs the veterans service commission to submit a report regarding coordinated services for veterans with service-connected disabilities to the commissioner of veterans' services by April 1, 2029.
