Authorizes localities to provide for an additional real property tax exemption for senior citizens who meet the income eligibility limits and other criteria to the extent of sixty-five percent of the assessed valuation of such real property.
Requires the commissioner of education to establish and enforce rules and regulations to incorporate at least a three credit course devoted to the instructional techniques necessary for effective literacy instruction which shall include delivering structured, systematic, explicit, evidence-based instruction aligned with the science of reading for prospective teachers.
Relates to extensions of state and local deadlines following a state disaster emergency; adds school district to the list of municipality and district corporations; relates to the prerequisites, time and scope thereof.
Requires warning labels on all containers that contain bisphenol A that states it is harmful to an individual's health to microwave or otherwise heat such container.
