Expands the purposes of the Putnam Lake Volunteer Firemen's Benevolent Association to be to promote friendly association for the betterment of the members of the corporation; to promote relations between the members of the corporation and the local community; to provide relief, aid and assistance to those members and their families who by reason of age, ill-health, injury, disability or financial hardship or vulnerability are deemed worthy of such assistance; to provide for the health and safety of the members of the corporation; to maintain suitable headquarters for the members of the corporation; to acquire real and personal property such as may be necessary for the purposes set forth in this clause; to study and disseminate among the members of the corporation the most efficient manner of fighting fires; and to promote the volunteer fire service within the territory now served or which may hereafter be served by the Putnam Lake Fire Department, Inc.
Relates to authorizing the use of funds from state or local sources for the provision or sale of New York milk in New York schools; requires the milk advisory council to participate in certain reporting requirements relating to consumption and availability of New York milk in New York schools; directs the department of agriculture and markets to undertake a study to increase processing of milk in New York state.
Relates to including outpatient care provided by creative arts therapists in certain insurance policies covering care for other mental health services.
Creates a temporary state commission to study and investigate how to regulate artificial intelligence, robotics and automation; repeals such commission.
Criminalizes the harassment of a child when the perpetrator intentionally or knowingly harasses, annoys or alarms a child or a child's parent or guardian; establishes a private right of action for harassment of a child.
Enacts the "tenants organizing act"; allows tenants' groups, committees or other tenants' organizations to invite outside guests or visitors including elected officials, services providers, housing lawyers, etc. without being required to pay fees; defines "tenants' organization"; provides for activities that tenants' organizations can take part in; provides for the manner in how a tenants' organization is established.
Extends the authority of NYSARC, Inc. to assign and pledge funds to the dormitory authority and to enter into agreement for the construction of certain facilities.
