AN ACT relating to background checks; establishing requirements relating to investigations into the criminal backgrounds of volunteers of a charter school, university school for profoundly gifted pupils or school district who are likely to have unsupervised contact with pupils; removing provisions authorizing the disclosure of information relating to the criminal history of an applicant for a license as a teacher or another educational personnel position to the administrator of a private school; removing certain requirements imposed on the Department of Education regarding persons whose applications for a license are denied because of a conviction of a sexual offense involving a minor; revising provisions concerning applicants for employment with a school district who are required to submit fingerprints to the school district; removing provisions requiring an applicant for employment with or employee of a private school or volunteer to submit fingerprints to the administrator of the private school and accordingly repealing provisions concerning exceptions to such a requirement; requiring applicants for certain licenses, certificates or permits to submit to the applicable regulatory body a complete set of fingerprints and written permission authorizing the applicable regulatory body to forward those fingerprints to the Central Repository for Nevada Records of Criminal History for its report on the criminal history of the applicant and for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for its report on the criminal history of the applicant; removing the applicability of certain requirements to applicants for a license to practice any of the special branches of dental hygiene, dental therapy or dentistry; defining the term dentistry; revising provisions of the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact concerning the disclosure of certain information relating to licensed psychologists; defining certain terms relating to reports on the criminal history of certain persons associated with medical cannabis establishments and adult-use cannabis establishments; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to state financial administration; authorizing expenditures by various officers, departments, boards, agencies, commissions and institutions of the State Government for the 2023-2025 biennium; authorizing the collection of certain amounts from the counties in the 2023-2025 biennium for the use of the services of the State Public Defender; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to state financial administration; making appropriations from the State General Fund and the State Highway Fund for the support of the civil government of the State of Nevada for the 2023-2025 biennium; providing for the use of the money so appropriated; making various other changes relating to the financial administration of the State; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Urging Congress to enact legislation requiring Medicare to cover multi-cancer early detection tests.

AN ACT relating to the Legislative Counsel Bureau; requiring the Legislative Auditor to conduct performance audits of certain school districts and the State Public Charter School Authority; authorizing the Chair of the Interim Finance Committee to request certain additional audits of school districts; establishing provisions governing such performance audits; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to cannabis; revising the civil penalties imposed for certain unlicensed cannabis activities; providing for the imposition of civil penalties for certain additional unlicensed cannabis activities; setting forth the manner in which such civil penalties must be recovered; requiring the Cannabis Compliance Board to designate one or more agents of the Board to perform certain duties; requiring the Board to adopt regulations establishing a program to pay rewards to persons who provide certain information to the Board concerning certain unlicensed cannabis activities; authorizing the Attorney General and the governing body of a city or county to establish a similar program; revising the definitions of synthetic cannabinoid and marijuana; revising requirements for the issuance of an adult-use cannabis establishment license or medical cannabis establishment license; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT making appropriations to the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for the replacement or purchase of certain information technology, vehicles and equipment; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to energy; revising a definition relating to certain renewable energy facilities; revising provisions governing the establishment by the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada of biennial targets for the procurement of energy storage systems by certain electric utilities; requiring the Commission to reevaluate the existing biennial targets; eliminating an obsolete provision relating to the establishment of such targets; establishing requirements for the installation of electrochemical energy storage systems; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
