An Act To Be Known As The Patient Privacy And Medical Recording Protection Act; To Prohibit Using Video, Audio Or Other Recording Equipment To Capture Interactions Or Procedures In Physicians' Offices Or Other Medical Facilities Without The Express Consent Of All Parties Involved; To Provide For Certain Exemptions; To Provide For Fines And Civil Remedies For Violations; To Prohibit The Sharing Of Medical Information, Including Images, Videos Or Recordings Containing Identifiable Patient Information, With Other Medical Professionals Or Third Parties Unless The Information Is Anonymized To Remove All Identifiable Details Or The Patient Provides Explicit Written Consent For Sharing Identifiable Information; To Prohibit Medical Facilities And Providers From Sharing Revealing Images Of Patients Without Their Express Consent, Except As Required By Law; To Provide For Fines And Civil Remedies For Violations; To Provide That The State Board Of Medical Licensure Will Oversee Enforcement Of This Act, Investigate Complaints, And Impose Penalties For Noncompliance; To Authorize Patients And Medical Providers To File Complaints About Unauthorized Recordings Or Data Sharing With The Board; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 27-19-63, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That If The Owner Or Operator Of A Purchased Vehicle Acquired The Vehicle From A Dealer And As Part Of The Transaction Of Purchasing The Vehicle Traded In A Vehicle To The Dealer, The Person May Retain The License Plate Removed From The Traded Vehicle And Use The License Plate On The Vehicle Purchased And Registered If The License Plate Is Of The Same Series As That Of A New License Plate Required For The Vehicle That Is Purchased And To Be Registered, The License Plate Is Authorized For Use On The Type Of Vehicle Purchased And To Be Registered And The County In Which The License Plate Was Issued Is The Same As The County In Which The Purchased Vehicle Is To Be Registered; An Act To Amend Section 27-19-141, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That If A Person, Other Than A Dealer Or Agent, Sells Or Transfers A Vehicle To Another Person, In Lieu Of Surrendering The License Plate, The Person May Retain And Use The License Plate On Another Vehicle That Is To Be Registered By Such Person For The First Time If The License Plate Is Of The Same Series As That Of A New License Plate Required For Such Vehicle That Is To Be Registered, The License Plate Removed From The Vehicle Is Authorized For Use On The Type Of Vehicle To Be Registered And The County In Which The License Plate Was Issued Is The Same As The County In Which The Vehicle Is To Be Registered; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 37-106-71, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Transition The "mississippi Dyslexia Education Forgivable Loan Program" To A Loan Repayment Program To Be Administered By The Mississippi Postsecondary Education Financial Assistance Board; To Provide That Eligibility Is Limited To Students Who Have Graduated With A Master's Degree In Dyslexia Therapy From An Accredited Institution Of Higher Learning Approved By The State Department Of Education; To Provide Additional Residency Requirements As Well As Requirements For Full-time Employment As A Licensed Dyslexia Therapist Providing Dyslexia Instruction Or Clinical Service In A Public School Or Charter School, School District, Or Nonpublic School Approved By The State Department Of Education; To Require Recipients To Have An Outstanding Qualifying Educational Loan Received Prior And Not In Default Or Delinquent On Any Existing Educational Loan; To Provide The Awards Shall Be Issued On A First-come, First-served Basis, And Shall Be Capped At $6,000.00 Per Year For Each Year Of Employment Up To A Maximum Of Three Years, To Prescribe Additional Criteria Required By The Mississippi Postsecondary Education Financial Assistance Board For Administration Of The Loan Repayment Program; And For Related Purposes.
