An Act To Amend Sections 57-78-3 And 57-78-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Mississippi Department Of Archives And History, Rather Than The Mississippi Development Authority, Shall Be The Administering Agency For The Grant Program; To Increase The Maximum Of Grant Funds That May Be Provided To A Community Under The Program During A Year; To Delete The Provision Requiring That The Mississippi Department Of Archives And History Shall Provide The Mississippi Main Street Association With No More Than Two Percent Of The Amount Of Funds Deposited Into The Mississippi Main Street Revitalization Grant Fund For Administrative Expenses In Carrying Out Its Duties Under The Mississippi Main Street Revitalization Grant Program; To Repeal Section 33 Of Chapter 113, Laws Of 2024, Which Provides Funds From The Mississippi Main Street Revitalization Grant Program Fund To The Mississippi Development Authority For Making Grants To Certain Main Street Designated Communities For Certain Projects; To Amend Section 2 Of Chapter 113, Laws Of 2024, To Revise The Fiscal Year 2025 Appropriation To The Mississippi Development Authority To Reduce The Amount Of Special Funds Appropriated To The Authority; To Amend Chapter 66, Laws Of 2024, To Revise The Fiscal Year 2025 Appropriation To The Mississippi Department Of Archives And History To Increase The Amount Of Special Funds Appropriated To The Department; To Provide That The Department Shall Distribute Funds From The Mississippi Main Street Revitalization Grant Program Fund To Certain Main Street Designated Communities For Certain Projects; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Authorize The Issuance Of State General Obligation Bonds To Provide Funds To Assist The Housing Authority Of The City Of Canton, Mississippi, In Paying The Costs Associated With The Redevelopment Of 100 Public Housing Units Located In The City Of Canton; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 47-7-3.1, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Case Plans Of Inmates Who Have Committed Nonviolent Offenses Shall Contain Certain Programs For Rehabilitative Purposes; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Provide A Right To Obtain And To Engage In Contraception; To Provide A Health-care Provider The Right To Provide Contraceptives, Contraception, And Contraception-related Information; To Prohibit The State, Its Political Subdivisions And Local Governmental Authorities From Infringing Upon The Right To Contraception; To Provide For Enforcement Of This Act By The Attorney General; To Authorize A Private Cause Of Action; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Establish The Mississippi Paid Family And Medical Leave Act; To Provide Certain Applicable Definitions; To Require The Mississippi Department Of Employment Security Establish And Administer A Family And Medical Leave Insurance Program; To Provide Covered Individuals With The Right To Paid Family And Medical Leave; To Determine The Amount Of Family And Medical Leave Insurance Benefits For Covered Individuals; To Create The Family And Medical Leave Insurance Fund In The State Treasury; To Provide For The Determination Of Insurance Premiums By The State Treasurer; To Protect The Employment Of Covered Individuals While They Are On Leave; To Prohibit Employers From Violating Rights Protected In This Act; To Require The Director Of The Department To Hold Violating Employers Liable; To Provide That This Act Is To Be Construed Alongside Similar Provisions In The Federal Family And Medical Leave Act; To Require That Claims Be Made In Accordance With Rules Prescribed By The Director Of The Department; To Disqualify Covered Individuals From Coverage For Fraud, Misrepresentation, Or Erroneous Payment; To Allow Covered Individuals To Elect For Initial Coverage Or Subsequent Coverage; To Prescribe Certain Requirements For The Formation And Administration Of The Family And Medical Leave Insurance Program; To Require Certain Actions By The Department If The Insurance Benefits In This Act Are Subject To Federal Income Tax; To Allow For Intermittent Or Reduced Leave; To Require The Department To Make An Annual Report To The Legislature; To Require The Department To Conduct A Public Education Campaign About The Program; To Encourage The Department To Collect Data For The Purpose Of Limiting The Cost Of The Program; To Require Employers To Provide Written Notice Of The Program To Employees Upon Hiring And Annually Thereafter; To Bring Forward Sections 25-3-91, 25-3-92, 25-3-93 And 25-3-95, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provide For Administrative, Personal And Major Medical Leave For State Employees, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
