An Act To Prohibit A Person From Sitting, Lying, Sleeping, Or Storing, Using, Maintaining Or Placing Personal Property Upon Any Street, Sidewalk Or Other Public Right-of-way Within 1,000 Feet Of A Defined Sensitive Area Or A Critical Infrastructure Area And To Provide That Violation Of This Prohibition Is A Public Nuisance That Can Be Abated And Prevented; To Provide That A Violation Of This Prohibition May Be Charged As A Misdemeanor; To Require At Least 48 Hours' Notice Before Commencement Of Any Enforcement Action; To Provide That Convictions Under This Section Shall Not Appear On A Person's Public Record; To Authorize The Removal Of Homeless Encampments On Private Property In A Humane Manner After 72 Hours' Notice; To Amend Section 21-19-11, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Include Homeless Encampments On Private Property In The Public Nuisance Law And To Provide That The Cost Of Abating Such Encampment Nuisances On Private Property Is A Lien On The Property Which May Be Waived By The Municipality; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Direct The Department Of Archives And History To Cause The Depiction Of The Confederate Flag To Be Removed From The State Capitol Rotunda; To Amend Section 55-15-81, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Prohibits The Relocation, Removal, Disturbing, Alteration, Renaming Or Rededication Of Certain Historical Items, Structures Or Areas, To Conform; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Create The Mississippi Nonprofit Partnership Study Committee; To Provide That The Committee Is To Study The Mississippi Alliance Of Nonprofits And Philanthropy's Prototype System For Workforce Development And Employment Services; To Provide The Members Of The Committee; To Provide That The Committee Shall Study And Make A Report On The Prototype System That Will Identify, Document, Network, Assess Needs And Create A Plan For Increasing Accountability, Transparency, Occupational Capacity And Information Sharing For Nonprofit Organizations In Mississippi That Are Awarded Grants And Contracts That Use Federal Or State Resources That Are Related To Workforce Development And Employment Services; To Require The Study Committee To Report To Certain Officials By December 1, 2024; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Be Known As The "mississippi Protect Health Data Privacy Act"; To Define Certain Terms; To Require Regulated Entities To Disclose And Maintain A Health Data Privacy Policy That Discloses Specified Information; To Prescribe Requirements For Health Data Privacy Policies; To Prohibit Regulated Entities From Collecting, Sharing And Storing Health Data Except In Specified Circumstances; To Prohibit Persons From Selling Health Data Concerning A Consumer Without First Obtaining Authorization From The Consumer; To Specify Certain Information That Must Be Contained In A Valid Authorization To Sell Consumer Health Data; To Require A Copy Of The Authorization To Be Provided To The Consumer; To Require Sellers And Purchasers Of Health Data To Retain Copies Of All Such Authorizations For A Specified Time; To Prescribe Requirements For Collecting, Sharing And Storing Health Data; To Authorize Consumers To Withdraw Consent From The Collection, Sharing, Sale Or Storage Of The Consumer's Health Data; To Prohibit Regulated Entities From Engaging In Discriminatory Practices Against Consumers Solely Because They Have Not Consented To The Collection, Sharing, Sale Or Storage Of Their Health Data; To Authorize Consumers To Confirm Whether A Regulated Entity Is Collecting, Selling, Sharing Or Storing Any Of The Consumer's Health Data; To Authorize Consumers To Have The Their Health Data That Is Collected By A Regulated Entity Deleted; To Prohibit The Use Of Geofencing Regarding Consumer Health Data; To Authorize Persons Aggrieved By A Violation Of This Act To File An Action Against An Offending Party In Circuit Court; To Authorize The Attorney General To Enforce Violations Of The Act; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Create The Mississippi Recall Act Of 2024 To Provide A Procedure For The Recall Of State Officials, Members Of The Legislature And Local Elected Officials; To Provide Definitions; To Prescribe Those Officials Subject To Recall; To Prescribe The Number Of Electors Needed To Demand A Recall; To Provide For The Application For And Time Of Filing A Recall Petition By Sponsors; To Provide A Form For The Recall Petition; To Prescribe Those Electors Eligible To Sign A Recall Petition And A Procedure For The Verification Of Signatures; To Prohibit Certain Persons From Circulating A Petition Or Application; To Provide For The Determination Of Legal Sufficiency Of A Petition By The Local Board Of Election Commissioners; To Provide For The Manner Of Conducting A Recall Election; To Provide For The Filing Of Subsequent Recall Petitions Following A Recall Election Or Denial Of Recall Petition; To Require The Secretary Of State To Print The Application Forms And Petition Forms And Distribute The Forms To The Boards Of Election Commissioners; To Authorize The State Board Of Election Commissioners To Promulgate Regulations To Implement This Act; To Authorize An Application To The Circuit Court To Compel Compliance With Recall Procedures; To Prohibit Giving Or Receiving Money To Sign Petitions Or Affidavits For Recall And Other Recall Infractions, And To Provide Criminal Penalties Therefor; To Repeal Sections 25-5-3 Through 25-5-37, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provide A Recall Procedure For Local Officials Pursuant To Petition And Election; And For Related Purposes.
