An Act To Amend Section 37-73-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Single List Of Nationally Recognized Industry Certifications Shall Only Be Used For Reimbursement Under Section 37-153-15 And Not In The Mississippi Statewide Accountability System Or In Diploma Endorsement Requirements; To Provide That The State Workforce Investment Board Shall Create A Separate List Of Nationally Recognized High Value Industry Certifications For Participants Enrolled In Community And Junior Colleges; To Require, Subject To Available Funding, The Mississippi Community College Board To Pay A Career And Technical Education Incentive Grant To Certain Community Colleges; To Amend Section 37-153-15, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Career And Technical Education Grants May Be Used To Purchase Needed Equipment; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 99-39-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require A Person Seeking To File A Motion For Post-conviction Collateral Relief To Obtain Permission From The Mississippi Supreme Court Before Filing The Motion In Trial Court If A Denial Of A Previous Post-conviction Motion Has Been Affirmed On Appeal Or More Than Three Years Have Elapsed After The Time For Taking An Appeal From A Judgment Or Conviction; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Be Known As The Mississippi Triage, Treat And Transport To Alternative Destination Act; To Provide That Policies Of Accident And Sickness Insurance Shall Provide Coverage For An Ambulance Service To Treat Or Assess An Enrollee In Place, Or Triage Or Triage And Transport An Enrollee To An Alterative Destination, Or An Encounter Between An Ambulance Service And Enrollee That Results Without Transport Of The Enrollee Under The Policy; To Provide That The Coverage Required Under This Section Is Subject To The Initiation Of Ambulance Service Treatment As A Result Of A 911 Call That Is Documented In The Records Of The Ambulance Service And Subject To Deductibles Or Copayment Requirements Of The Policy, And Does Not Diminish Or Limit Benefits Otherwise Allowable Under The Policy; To Provide That The Reimbursement Rate For An Ambulance Service Provider Whose Operators Assess, Triage, Treat Or Transport An Enrollee To An Alternative Destination Shall Be Not Less Than The Advanced Life Support Rate With Mileage To The Scene; To Provide That The Minimum Allowable Reimbursement Rate Under Any Policy Of Accident And Sickness Insurance To A Participating Ambulance Service Provider Or An Out-of-network Ambulance Service Provider Shall Be The Greater Of The Rates Contracted Between An Ambulance Service Provider And A County, Municipality Or Special Purpose District Or Authority, Or Otherwise Approved Or Established By Ordinance Or Regulation Enacted By Any Such County, Municipality Or Special Purpose District Or Authority, Or Three Hundred Twenty-five Percent Of The Reimbursement Allowed By Medicare For Services Originating In Rural Areas; To Provide That If An Ambulance Service Provider's Billed Charges Are Less Than The Minimum Allowable Reimbursement Rate Provided For In This Act, Then Such Minimum Allowable Reimbursement Rate Shall Be The Provider's Billed Charges; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Create New Section 45-39-19, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Establish Certain Financial And Reporting Requirements For Local Crime Stoppers Programs; To Amend Section 45-39-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Clarify Terms Of Office Of Members Of The Crime Stoppers Advisory Council Within The Department Of Public Safety; To Amend Section 45-39-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Designate The Commissioner Of Public Safety As The Director Of The Advisory Council; To Amend Section 45-39-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Declare Records Of The Department Of Public Safety Relating To Reports Of Criminal Acts That Are Confidential And Not Discoverable Unless The Records Contain Exculpatory Evidence, And To Exempt Such Records From The Mississippi Public Records Act Of 1983; To Amend Section 45-39-11, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Toll-free Telephone Service For Reporting Criminal Acts To Be Operated Continuously On A Statewide Basis; To Amend Section 45-39-17, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require Local Surcharges Assessed By Counties And Municipalities In Support Of Crime Stoppers Programs To Be Deposited Into The State Crime Stoppers Fund For Disbursement Back To Participating Counties And Municipalities; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Prohibit Persons Under The Age Of Twenty-one Years From Entering The Premises Of A Retailer That Sells, Stores, Or Maintains Kratom Products; To Prohibit Persons Under The Age Of Twenty-one Years From Purchasing, Receiving, Or Having In His Or Her Possession Any Kratom Products; To Prohibit Retailers From Selling Any Kratom Products To Any Person Under The Age Of Twenty-one Years; To Require Retailers That Sell, Store, Or Maintain Kratom Products To Post A Sign In A Conspicuous Place At Or Near Each Entrance Stating That Only Persons Twenty-one Years Of Age Or Older Are Permitted To Enter The Premises; To Define Certain Terms Relating To This Act; To Provide Penalties For A Violation Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 41-7-191, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize Licensed Acute Care Hospitals That Are Located In Rural, Medically Underserved Areas To Expand The Current Service Lines Of The Hospital Into Any Other Locations Within The County In Which The Hospital Is Located Or Into Other Locations In Contiguous Counties Within A Radius Of Fifty Miles From The Main Facility Of The Hospital, Without Having To Obtain A Certificate Of Need; And For Related Purposes.
