INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF RANGELANDS AND PASTORALISTS – States findings of the Legislature and supports recognizing 2026 as the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists.
IDAHO REFUGEE AND ILLEGAL ALIEN ACCOUNTABILITY ACT – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding an audit of the resettlement of refugees and to establish provisions regarding the immigration status and nationality of arrested individuals.
CONDITIONAL RELEASE AND DEPORTATION OF ILLEGAL ALIEN OFFENDERS – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding the conditional release and deportation of illegal alien offenders.
APPROPRIATIONS – HEALTH AND WELFARE – EARLY LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT, YOUTH SAFETY AND PERMANENCY, AND FAMILY AND COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS – Relates to the appropriation to the Department of Health and Welfare for fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
SOIL CONSERVATION AND WATER RESOURCES – States findings of the Legislature and supports the consolidation of the Soil and Water Conservation Commission into the Idaho Department of Water Resources.
EDUCATION – States findings of the Legislature, declares that the existing public school funding formula requires review and modernization, and requests that the Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction present draft legislation to the Legislature.
LIMITATIONS ON DRAFTING REQUESTS AND ROUTING SLIPS – States findings of the Legislature and provides for the addition of Joint Rule 24 to establish limitations on the number of pieces of draft legislation and the number of routing slips that may be requested by each member of the Legislature.
